OTT TV platform Tivify will stream Saturday’s UEFA Champions League Final live using Ateme’s latest TITAN transcoding solutions.
Tivify, backed by Spain’s TVUP, implemented TITAN transcoding solutions for its streaming services for the first time in 2020. The platform offers free access to over 130 streaming channels, including some of the hottest channels. popular in Spain. The UEFA Champions League Final marks the first time that Tivify will use TITAN’s proven CMAF features to live stream a football match with latency matching broadcast levels.
Latency continues to be a primary factor in delivering OTT services, especially for sports coverage, where streams typically lag about 30 seconds behind the live broadcast.

The 2022 UEFA Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid will take place at the Stade de France, Paris, at 21:00 CET on 28 May 2022.
