How children can book a vaccination window online
The vaccine registration process for students will be similar to that for adults.
To register for vaccination, children must first go to the CoWIN portal or simply Click here and register using either their cell phone number and Aadhaar card. If you don’t have an Aadhaar card, you can use your student card number to register.
Once registered, starting January 3, students will be able to find the nearest vaccination center and reserve a slot when it becomes available. The CoWIN portal allows you to find the nearest vaccination center by state, district or PIN code. The portal also allows you to find the nearest vaccination center on the map. All three options are available directly on the home screen.
Since registrations will be live on the CoWIN portal, students will be able to register using a phone number / ID on the Aarogya Setu app and UMANG app. Both of these apps are developed by the Indian government and are available for download from the Google Play Store as well as the Apple App Store.
