SPIE UK was awarded a four-year contract to provide fire systems maintenance services to the University of Ulster.
The SPIE UK team will work on the university’s four campuses, located in Magee (Derry / Londonderry), Coleraine, Jordanstown and Belfast.
Under the terms of the contract, SPIE UK will provide scheduled and reactive maintenance, servicing and repair of fire alarms and gas suppression 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. SPIE UK will also carry out any upgrades to the fire systems, if necessary.
Already a service provider to the university, the technical engineering solutions provider said it was well positioned to identify bespoke benefits for the University of Ulster, including specific upgrade work. of the system.

As part of its work with the university, SPIE will engage in a number of promises of community benefits. These include creating work experience placements in technical and administrative roles for students at the University of Ulster, as well as attending career events at the university.

The contract has an optional extension period of four additional years.
