With Monte Morris released in the Covid protocols, Campazzo took the start on Thursday. He didn’t have much to show with five points and seven assists in 32 minutes. But even with a lot of the offense going through Jokic, I think it’s the very low level of production expected at those sort of minutes. Campazzo’s averages per 30 minutes on the points side are a bit higher and I think he has a floor high enough to be considered cash. Part of that is because the game against the Rockets is so good. the DraftKings the price is particularly attractive.
With Spencer dinwiddie still in the Covid protocols, the entire offense will, once again, be covered Bradley Beal in this game. In the last two games, Beal has averaged 24 shots in 35 minutes, totaling 29 points, 10 assists and six rebounds the last time around. He could be in line for a similar production here at home against the Bulls. the DraftKings the price has been corrected for using Beal as the main creator, but FanDuel did not come enough. I think it will be a very popular piece on this particular site.
With Monte Morris and Aaron Gordon out of the roster, Barton is asked to take more of the offensive load for Denver. He shot 15 and 18 shots in the last two games, respectively, losing 21 to the Warriors on Tuesday. And this game against the Rockets is much better considering that Houston ranks second to last in defensive efficiency this season while running the third fastest pace. This essentially results in the exact recipe that you want to target in DFS. Barton, sitting in the middle salary echelon at both sites, means he fits easily into the lineups and is in too good a position to disappear on this slate.
Hamidou Diallo FD – $ 6,800 DK – $ 7,700
Opponent – HER
Proj points FD – 38.25 DK – 39.43
The Pistons’ roster has really been slammed by Covid protocols and they plan to bring anyone from their home group back for this game. That means huge minutes for Diallo in the short term and he has over 34 minutes in each of the last four games. In this streak, he averages over 20 points per game, the last time being the real winner. Against the Knicks, Diallo lost 31 points and added 13 rebounds in a winning performance. The game against Spurs is another good and I think Diallo gets a lot of running again. The price is on the rise, but it is justified.
Saddiq Bey FD – $ 6,700 DK – $ 8,200
Opponent – HER
Proj points FD – 39.01 DK – 42.77
As mentioned with Diallo, the Pistons are really thin right now and Bey has been running huge minutes. He’s played 41+ in each of the last three and averaged 26 points and nine rebounds in that streak. I think we can throw it for over 40 minutes again and the use without guys like Cade Cunningham in the lineup was great. It’s an easy call FanDuel here where its price has not been adjusted enough. I guess it’s a bit close DraftKings, but it’s really good enough to support the price hikes there.
Front / center power
Nikola Jokic FD – $ 11,700 DK – $ 12,600
Opponent – HOU
Proj points FD – 65.67 DK – 69.54
Jokic is the clear payment option on this slate and I don’t consider it particularly close. He again has an MVP-like production this season with 26 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists per game. He also adds a bit of the defensive side and is quite simply one of the top fantastic scorers out there. Considering he’s now facing the Rockets’ best DFS clash, deciding who to start at center becomes quite easy. I don’t think in cash there is a reason for a fade. And if the game were to turn into a blowout, it’s probably because Jokic turned into a monster line.
Kyle kuzma FD – $ 6,500 DK – $ 7,900
Opponent – CHI
Proj points FD – 34.14 DK – 37.26
Kuzma has had to take more of the Wizards’ offense in the last two games and he’s performed well all things considered. Against the Cavaliers, Kuzma took 17 shots and finished with 25 points and 10 rebounds, one of his best games of the season. Washington still needs him to take a lot of shots here, this time against the Bulls. They are currently lacking individual playmakers on their roster and we will again see more attacks through Kuzma.
Marcus Morris Sr. FD – $ 6,900 DK – $ 5,800
Opponent – BKN
Proj points FD – 32.94 DK – 36.36
If the Clippers can stay close here, we could see a lot of Morris minutes in this game. He has played 38 in each of the last two games, scoring 20 and 23 points respectively. He’s also taken a lot of shots, totaling 37 in the last few games. The Clippers will need both his offense and his defense if they are to stay in the gym against the Nets and Morris’s mid-level pricing works at both venues.
